As you know Peter H, John Walters and I went along to the Observatory on Wednesday evening (16th Feb). The seeing conditions were not ideal as there was a hazy mist covering most off the sky. However, it was possible to observe the Moon and Saturn for a short time around 19:30hrs. We set up the Phillips Toucam Pro II and took a 30sec (20fps) video of Saturn. I have processed the .avi file using RegiStaxV3 and have arrived at the image attached to this e-mail. I am not too conversant with the subtleties of RegiStax at this stage and no doubt the image can be improved more. The attachment has not had too much done to it apart from a very small bit of sharpening using PaintShop Pro 7 and some fiddling to the wavelet values to bring out the banding on the main body a bit more. Most of the values on RegiStax V3 were set to their default values, Regards Tim
